The news spooked investors, crashing the crypto market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The price of Bitcoin fell more than 4% to lows of $65, 911 across major crypto exchanges, pushing into the negative territory on the weekly chart and cutting 30-day gains to just 8.8% at the time of writing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss, commenting on the BTC transfer, noted that it came only two days after Trump \u201cpledged to never sell any of the US government\u2019s bitcoin.\u201d It\u2019s a view that many across the crypto community hold, with the move seen as a continuation of the anti-crypto stance from the Biden-Harris Administration.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On Saturday, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@realDonaldTrump<\/a> pledged to never sell any of the US government&#8217;s bitcoin. These whales have aggressively scooped Bitcoin since Monday\u2019s dip, market intelligence account Lookonchain <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lookonchain\/status\/1818189652190491061\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">shared<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on X.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One such whale, \u201c12QVsf\u201d, reportedly withdrew 4,500 BTC worth over $302 million from Binance.
