During the interview with Squawk Box co-anchor Andrew Sorkin, Solomon\u2019s previous reservations about bitcoin were revisited. Sorkin mentioned the cryptocurrency\u2019s significant price fluctuations, noting a sharp decline from $70,000 to $66,000 in a single morning. He also highlighted bitcoin\u2019s rising prominence in political discourse, with notable figures such as former U.S. President Donald Trump and U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris<\/a> engaging with the crypto community.<\/p>\n

Sorkin queried Solomon on whether the increasing political focus and bitcoin\u2019s continued presence suggest its permanence in the financial landscape.
