Ethereum core contributors include smart contract languages, execution clients, EVMs, testnets, and cryptography researchers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meanwhile, OP Stack researchers include projects that directly contribute to the OP Stack and the Optimism protocol. These include client Implementations, modules and audits. Integration and load testing infrastructure and RaaS providers are among OP Stack tooling projects eligible for the funding.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Optimism welcomes Soneium<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Other news developments for Optimism related to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/sony-launches-soneium-blockchain-to-drive-mainstream-web3-adoption\/\">Sony\u2019s launch of the Soneium<\/a>, an Ethereum Layer-2 chain leveraging the OP Stack.
