Raoul Pal, the CEO of Real Vision and a prominent macroeconomic analyst, is forecasting a significant surge in the adoption of certain crypto sectors. In a recent interview on the Empire podcast, Pal discussed the potential for blockchain-based gaming applications to drive substantial growth in the digital asset space.<\/p>\n

Raoul Pal<\/a>, who previously worked at Goldman Sachs, believes that the crypto industry is on the cusp of a major breakout, particularly in the gaming sector. He sees this as a crucial development that could accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrencies. \u201cWhen we start to see just straight-up user applications, we\u2019re starting to see gaming, it\u2019s starting to happen. I think that\u2019s going to be a big breakout,\u201d<\/em> Pal said.<\/p>\n

However, his optimism isn\u2019t limited to gaming alone. Pal expects a broader surge in the use of various consumer applications built on blockchain technology. He highlighted the transition from Web2 to Web3, or the shift from the \u201cold internet\u201d to the \u201cnew internet,\u201d as a key factor in driving this next wave of adoption. \u201cThat\u2019s going to come at scale, and I think we\u2019re going to really start kicking off this cycle,\u201d<\/em> Pal added.<\/p>\n

Significant Gains Expected in the Crypto Market<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Pal also shared his outlook on specific cryptocurrencies, predicting substantial gains in the near future. He envisions a 10X increase for Solana (SOL) and a 4X to 5X rally for Bitcoin (BTC) from their current levels.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Pal hinted at a potential opportunity in the next layer-1 blockchain race, comparing it to the early-stage bets on Ethereum and Solana in previous cycles. He suggested that while these trades can be highly lucrative, they also come with risks, often followed by sharp corrections. \u201cI reckon there\u2019s a really good trade to come, and it\u2019s a lot of fun, but it comes very quickly, and it usually gets overvalued and then goes down 95% afterward,\u201d<\/em> Pal concluded.<\/p>\n
