Latest upside follows the rebound from lows of $1.35 reached on September 6.<\/p>\n<p>The gains saw the WLD token outpace Sei (SEI), Popcat (POPCAT) and Starknet (STRK) in the top 100 by market cap. <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/wif-pepe-and-sei-shine-as-cryptocurrencies-surge\/\">SEI<\/a> and POPCAT tokens were double digits higher at the time of writing, posting 18.8% and 12.5% respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, STRK was up 8.5%. For Starknet, gains came as the zero-knowledge layer 2 network announced phase one of its staking was now live.<\/p>\n<h2>Worldcoin expands World ID verification<\/h2>\n<p>On Sept. 25, the Worldcoin team <a href=\"https:\/\/worldcoin.org\/blog\/announcements\/new-world-id-launches-guatemala-malaysia-poland-pivotal-moment-ai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> that it had achieved three new World ID verification launches in Guatemala, Malaysia and Poland.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">1 week, 3 World ID verification launches \ud83c\uddec\ud83c\uddf9\ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\uddfe\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf1 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CwwNPNUPzh\">pic.twitter.com\/CwwNPNUPzh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Worldcoin (@worldcoin) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/worldcoin\/status\/1838941534265196744?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 25, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The expansion adds to the growing number of countries where the World ID, the project\u2019s AI related digital passport, are available.
