That\u2019s the job I would take.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that he\u2019d be open to working as the head of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), \u201cbut somebody needs to replace <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/us-sec-chair-gensler-reaffirms-bitcoin-btc-is-not-a-security-under-sec-rules\/\">Gary Gensler<\/a>\u201d who is the SEC\u2019s chair.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/search\/mark+cuban\">Cuban<\/a> continued by highlighting Harris\u2019s promise to advance technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. Earlier this week, Harris delivered \u2013 what are believed to be her first \u2013 crypto-positive remarks at a New York fundraiser.<\/p>\n<p>During her speech, she said under her administration, she would \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/harris-delivers-crypto-positive-remarks-says-shell-invest-in-americas-future\/\">encourage innovative technologies like AI and digital assets<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, when pushed further by Caputo about potentially replacing Gensler, Cuban said \u201cbottom line, he\u2019s awful, particularly for crypto and for businesses in general.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mark Cuban: This is the definition of insane\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Yw_Bc-zP9-Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>A blight on technology<\/h2>\n<p>Cuban hasn\u2019t been one to shy away from criticizing Gensler and the SEC\u2019s policies and regulatory approach to crypto companies.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, the entrepreneur took to X, commenting on Rep. It it this lack of clarity that is putting a damper on the industry\u2019s growth in the US.<\/p>\n<p>Some think that if Cuban were to replace Gensler, he\u2019d be a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JohnEDeaton1\/status\/1839096045109719444\">breath of fresh air<\/a>\u201d unlike the \u201clawlessness of Gary Gensler,\u201d as stated by John Deaton, a lawyer and entrepreneur.
