Michael Saylor<\/a>, Executive Chairman of Microstrategy (Nasdaq: MSTR), shared his bullish outlook on bitcoin<\/a> and the cryptocurrency industry in a recent CNBC interview. Highlighting a combination of political shifts and growing Wall Street involvement, Saylor expressed optimism about BTC\u2019s trajectory.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re also getting a lot of very constructive support from Wall Street,\u201d<\/em> Saylor said. He specifically mentioned Blackrock\u2019s endorsement, stating: \u201cBlackrock has been a very, very strong voice articulating the bitcoin value proposition.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Microstrategy\u2019s recent announcement to raise $42 billion to acquire bitcoin underscores this confidence. \u201cThat\u2019s the same as saying we\u2019re going to buy every bitcoin mined for the next three years at $85,000 or more bitcoin,\u201d<\/em> Saylor explained.<\/p>\n

Regulatory Leadership and Bitcoin\u2019s Potential<\/h2>\n

Saylor emphasized the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\u2019s (SEC) role in shaping the cryptocurrency industry. He predicted that a pro-bitcoin SEC chair could introduce a robust digital assets framework, marking the end of regulatory conflicts.<\/p>\n

On bitcoin\u2019s price, Saylor dismissed any potential drop below $30,000 and envisioned BTC surpassing $100,000 soon. \u201cI\u2019m planning the $100K party and I\u2019m thinking it\u2019s probably going to be New Year\u2019s Eve at my house,\u201d<\/em> he said confidently.<\/p>\n

Saylor also voiced strong support for Senator Cynthia Lummis\u2019 proposal for a U.S. strategic bitcoin reserve. \u201cI think it\u2019s a great idea. I think it will happen. And I think it\u2019s important to the United States,\u201d<\/em> he remarked.
