Data from CoinMarketCap shows Bitcoin reached more than $103,500 around 04:05 this morning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-source=\"CoinJournal\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-254250\" src=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Bitcoin-100000.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1393\" height=\"745\"\/><\/p>\n<p>At the time of publishing, Bitcoin is trading at around $101,000. Over the past 30 days, the crypto asset has risen nearly 50% in value while its year-to-date value has increased by 140%.<\/p>\n<p>While there are <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/post-halving-2024-market-is-pushing-bitcoins-price-not-just-trump-says-onramp-bitcoin-co-founder\/\">underlying factors<\/a> relating to Bitcoin\u2019s price rise, Donald Trump\u2019s presidential victory last month has given the asset a significant push.
