Atkins\u2019 tenure as a Commissioner at the SEC under President George W. Bush from 2002 to 2008 gives him deep regulatory experience, and his leadership style is expected to prioritize practicality and innovation in financial markets.<\/p>\n<p>Atkins founded Patomak Global Partners in 2009, after stepping down from his role at the SEC. His firm works with crypto exchanges and decentralized finance (DeFi) operators, reflecting his ongoing support for the cryptocurrency sector.
