He achieved this after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/video\/6362127229112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sending a Bitcoin transaction at PubKey<\/a>, a crypto-themed bar in New York ahead of his campaign rally in Long Island in September.<\/p>\n<p>Since winning the election in November against current vice president Kamala Harris, Trump has been appointing pro-crypto candidates for his administration before he enters the White House next month.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Trump named pro-crypto Paul Atkins as the <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/donald-trump-selects-pro-crypto-paul-atkins-to-be-the-next-us-sec-chair\/\">next chair of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)<\/a>, helping push <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/bitcoin-hits-100k-for-the-first-time-as-bull-run-continues\/\">Bitcoin to over $100,000 for the first time<\/a>.
