Exchange and partner listings will be live soon \u2013 and reminder: when RLUSD is live, you\u2019ll hear it from Ripple first,\u201d Garlinghouse posted.<\/p>\n<p>The official Ripple X account also shared the upcoming launch of the stablecoin, with the news coming as the XRP token looked to recover above $2. Losses for the altcoin came as Bitcoin pared gains to below $95k and most coins traded lower.<\/p>\n<h2>Ripple gets regulatory nod<\/h2>\n<p>Earlier this month, Ripple dismissed reports the US dollar-pegged stablecoin was launching. Rather, it confirmed that the official launch awaited regulatory approval from the NYDFS.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Despite some speculation, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24RLUSD&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$RLUSD<\/a> isn\u2019t launching today. We\u2019re in lockstep with the NYDFS on final approval and will share updates as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>We are fully committed to launching under the supervision of NYDFS and upholding the highest regulatory standards. The market leader in this segment is Tether\u2019s USDT, which has a market cap of over $138 billion.
