where this industry can flourish\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>President-elect Donald Trump has named Bo Hines Executive Director of the Presidential Council of Advisers for Digital Assets, or the Crypto Council.<\/p>\n<p>In a post on his social media platform, <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/113698639577293090\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Truth Social<\/a>, Trump said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn his new role, Bo will work with David to foster innovation and growth in the digital assets space, while ensuring industry leaders have the resources they need to succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In December, Trump announced David Sacks as the <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/donald-trump-names-david-sacks-as-ai-and-crypto-czar\/\">lead policy advisor on artificial intelligence and crypto<\/a>, dubbing him the \u201cWhite House AI and Crypto Czar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/113603133222686186\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">post<\/a> on Truth, <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/search\/donald+trump\">Trump<\/a> wrote that Sacks will take up the role which are \u201ctwo areas critical to the future of American competitiveness,\u201d adding, among other things, that \u201che will work on a legal framework so the crypto industry has the clarity it has been asking for, and can thrive in the US.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Referring to Hines and Sacks working together, Trump added:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether, they will create an environment where this industry can flourish, and remain a cornerstone of our Nation\u2019s technological advancement.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Pro-crypto administration<\/h2>\n<p>Since winning the US election in November, Trump has gone on to hire individuals within his administration that are considered pro-crypto.<\/p>\n<p>In November, Trump has announced that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/trump-confirms-musk-and-ramaswamy-will-lead-doge-agency-to-drive-out-wasteful-spending\/\">dismantle government bureaucracy<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Posting on <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/113472884874740859\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Truth Social<\/a>, Trump said Tesla CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/search\/elon+musk\">Musk<\/a> and entrepreneur Ramaswamy will \u201cdismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies \u2013 Essential to the \u2018Save America\u2019 movement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following that announcement, Trump selected Paul Atkins, a staunch advocate for the crypto industry, to serve as the <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/donald-trump-selects-pro-crypto-paul-atkins-to-be-the-next-us-sec-chair\/\">next chair of the US Securities and Exchange Commission<\/a> (SEC).<\/p>\n<p>Current SEC chair Gary Gensler is stepping down in January 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Since his election win, the crypto market has seen a significant rally with <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/bitcoin-holds-above-107-despite-172m-mt-gox-btc-transfer\/\">Bitcoin reaching highs of $107,000<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-meta\">\n<hr
