However, the intermediate time frame analysis shows ranging movement that failed to break the previous week\u2019s high or low.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-source=\"CoinJournal\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-258786\" src=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/BTCUSD_2024-12-30_10-41-21_a0a5c.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"817\" height=\"451\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/bitcoin\/what-is-bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> spot ETF flows logged four consecutive days of net outflows leading into Dec. 24. For the week ending on Dec 27, inflows were a net negative $89.70Mn.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin\u2019s open interest in the CME continues to dwindle with a strong price correlation as traders close their positions for the year.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-source=\"CoinJournal\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-258791\" src=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/BTC-OI.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"828\" height=\"255\"\/><\/p>\n<p>BTC trades at $93,970.06 as of publishing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ethereum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum\u2019s price<\/a> action ranged throughout the week on lower volumes and open interest in the official markets and across major exchanges. Like Bitcoin, Ethereum\u2019s price failed break below the previous week\u2019s low at $3,094.67 or a range high at $3,550.80.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-source=\"CoinJournal\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-258785\" src=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/ETHUSD_2024-12-30_12-52-48_db615.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"832\" height=\"460\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Spot ETH ETF flows show positive net weekly inflows of $349.3Mn after logging four days of positive inflows. On the other hand, open interest data shows dwindling levels as traders close contracts while winding down at the end of the year approaches.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-source=\"CoinJournal\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-258792\" src=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/ETH-OI-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"838\" height=\"262\"\/><\/p>\n<p>ETH trades at $3,418.21 as of publishing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solana<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/solana\/\">Solana\u2019s price<\/a> action ranged between a locally formed high at $202.00 and the previous week\u2019s low at $175.10.
