Buying happened between Dec. 30, 2024 and Jan. 5, 2025, the business intelligence firm said.<\/p>\n<p>MicroStrategy completed the sale after finalizing the sale of 319,586 shares. With this purchase, the company\u2019s remains with $6.77 billion shares \u2013 part of the targeted $21 billion equity and $21 billion fixed income securities \u2013 to be used for more Bitcoin purchases.<\/p>\n<h2>MicroStrategy\u2019s Bitcoin strategy<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bitcoin price has risen in the past week, rising amid bullish sentiment ahead of Donald Trump\u2019s inauguration. So far, MicroStrategy has acquired a staggering 447,470 BTC hodled at the purchase value of about $27.97 billion. As per current prices,the company\u2019s total BTC bag is worth over $44 billion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">MicroStrategy has acquired 1,070 BTC for ~$101 million at ~$94,004 per bitcoin and has achieved BTC Yield of 48.0% in Q4 2024 and 74.3% in FY 2024. It includes companies listed in the US, Hong Kong and Canada among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Notably, MicroStrategy bought its bitcoin at the average price of $62,503 per BTC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One of these, KULR Technology Group, an energy management platform, has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kulrtechnology.com\/kulr-increases-bitcoin-purchases-to-42-million-reports-93-7-btc-yield\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> on Jan.6 that it purchased another $21 million worth of BTC to bring its total to $42 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">KULR has acquired 213.43 BTC for ~ $21 million at ~ $98,246 per <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#bitcoin<\/a> and has achieved BTC Yield of 93.7 % YTD.
