Bloomberg first reported on the news of the Ledger co-founder\u2019s release on Thursday, Jan. 23.<\/p>\n<h2>Ransom demaind in cryptocurrency<\/h2>\n<p>According to a statement from the Paris prosecutor\u2019s office, Balland\u2019s kidnappers had put up a significant ransom demand.
