According to reports, <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/cryptocurrencies\/section\/what-is-a-bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin (BTC)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/cryptocurrencies\/ethereum-alternative-coin\/\">Ethereum (ETH)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/cryptocurrencies\/ripple\/\">XRP (XRP)<\/a>, Solana (SOL), and <a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/cryptocurrencies\/cardano\/\">Cardano (ADA)<\/a> will all be part of the reserve.<\/p>\n<p>The entire cryptocurrency market surged by a staggering $100 billion after Trump made the announcement on Truth Social. SOL rose 24%, ADA surged over 70%, and XRP surged 37%. Ethereum and Bitcoin, meanwhile, saw increases of 13% and 10%, respectively.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"810\">Political Stance on Crypto and Regulatory Actions<\/h2>\n<p>Trump presented the reserve as a defense against the Biden administration\u2019s alleged \u201ccorrupt attacks\u201d on the Bitcoin industry. He reiterated his goal of turning the US become the global \u201ccrypto capital.\u201d It is still unknown, though, exactly how the reserve will be organized.<\/p>\n<p>A Presidential Working Group to evaluate the viability of a national cryptocurrency reserve was established by an executive order signed by Trump in January.
