News of this comes as market prices are down for Avalanche\u2019s AVAX token.<\/p>\n<p>Data from <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/avalanche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CoinMarketCap<\/a> shows that its year-to-date decline is at nearly 52%. Over the past 24 hours, it has dropped around 10% and is trading at $17.15. It would also follow on from its <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/sol-price-soars-after-vaneck-files-for-solana-etf\/\">Solana ETF<\/a>, which it filed for last June. It would join the likes of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF products, which were the first to receive SEC approval last <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/us-sec-approves-eleven-spot-bitcoin-etfs-as-memeinators-presale-approaches-3-5m\/\">January<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/us-sec-approves-ethereum-etfs-grayscale-spot-ether-etfs-launch-on-nyse-arca\/\">July<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>VanEck is among several issuers applying for various altcoin ETFs in recent months. Last month, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe) <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/cboe-exchange-files-xrp-etfs-19b-4-forms-for-four-issuers\/\">filed four separate filings on behalf of issuers to launch spot XRP ETFs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In January, Nasdaq filed a 19b-4 form for a <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/nasdaq-files-19b-4-form-for-canary-litecoin-etf-sec-approval\/\">Canary Litecoin ETF<\/a>. This was followed by Nasdaq filing for a <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/nasdaq-files-a-19b-4-form-to-list-and-trade-a-hedera-hbar-etf\/\">Hedera ETF<\/a> at the end of February.
