    The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed its decision to approve several crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs).<\/p>\n

    The affected ETFs are Litecoin, Doge, Solana, and XRP. In filings<\/a> published on March 11, the SEC said it had issued a \u201cNotice of Designation of a Longer Period\u201d to determine the outcome of proposed rule changes.<\/p>\n

    The ETFs are those filed by Nasdaq\u2019s Litecoin<\/a> and the Chicago Board Options Exchange\u2019s (Cboe) XRP ETFs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    Following the news, Bloomberg\u2019s ETF analyst James Seyffart said on X<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s expected as this is standard procedure,\u201d adding that Paul Atkins, the new chair of the SEC<\/a>, hasn\u2019t even been confirmed yet.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThis doesn\u2019t change our (relatively high) odds of approval. Also note that the final deadlines aren\u2019t until October for these,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

    Yes, the SEC just punted on a bunch of alt coin ETF filings including Litecoin, Solana, XRP & DOGE. It's expected as this is standard procedure & Atkins hasn't even been confirmed yet. This doesn't change our (relatively high) odds of approval. Also note that the final deadlines\u2026<\/p>\n
