Dividends will be paid out beginning on June 30, 2025 \u201cout of funds legally available for their payment,\u201d Strategy said.<\/p>\n<h2>Raising funds for Bitcoin<\/h2>\n<p>The news comes as Strategy announced earlier this month that it\u2019s planning to issue and sell shares of up to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/michael-saylors-strategy-to-raise-up-to-21b-to-buy-more-bitcoin\/\">$21 billion in its at-the-market (ATM) program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Through selling shares of its 8.00% Series A perpetual strike preferred stock, $STRK, Strategy said the additional capital will be used for general corporate operations, including the purchase of more Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>The latest news also follows a recent Bitcoin purchase Strategy made in an announcement yesterday. In a post on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/saylor\/status\/1901606324447646170\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">X<\/a>, Saylor said it had acquired 130 Bitcoin for $10.7 million at an average price of $82,981 per Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Strategy has acquired 130 BTC for ~$10.7M at ~$82,981 per bitcoin and has achieved BTC Yield of 6.9% YTD 2025.
