The financial firm received SEC approval to move forward with its \u201cOnchain Economy ETF,\u201d aimed at companies shaping the digital asset landscape.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p><strong><em>Good to know<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>VanEck\u2019s new ETF will trade under the ticker NODE and is expected to launch by May 14.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>NODE will invest in 30 to 60 stocks tied to the crypto ecosystem, plus crypto ETFs.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The SEC has already approved Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs, with more under review.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr\/>\n<p>The fund, set to trade under the ticker NODE, is scheduled for launch by May 14. It will be actively managed by Matthew Sigel, VanEck\u2019s head of digital assets research. He described NODE as a way for investors to gain exposure to real-world companies tied to the crypto economy.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of holding cryptocurrencies directly, NODE will target 30 to 60 public stocks. These will span sectors such as mining, exchanges, hardware production, gaming, and infrastructure. Later that year, Ethereum ETFs also got the green light.
