As of May 18, Strategy reported its Bitcoin position had grown 16.3% year-to-date.<\/p>\n<h2>Lawsuit lands alongside new buy<\/h2>\n<p>While Strategy boosted its crypto position, it also revealed legal trouble. According to the same May 19 filing with the SEC, a class-action lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The suit targets Strategy and three executives: chairman Michael Saylor, CEO Phong Le, and CFO Andrew Kang.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit alleges the defendants misrepresented key information about the company\u2019s Bitcoin investment strategy. The company acquired its total holdings for approximately $40.2 billion at an average cost of $69,726 per coin.
