Using his <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/crypto\/bitcoin-stock-to-flow-s2f-model-what-is-it\/\">stock-to-flow model<\/a><\/strong> as a guide, he believes the cryptocurrency is still undervalued and has strong upside potential over the next few years.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p><em><strong>Good to know<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/cryptocurrencies\/section\/what-is-a-bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> is trading near $104,300, well below PlanB\u2019s cycle average target.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The stock-to-flow model suggests a potential average price of $500,000 during this cycle.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>PlanB expects the current bull market to extend for three more years.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr\/>\n<p>PlanB, known for applying the stock-to-flow model to Bitcoin, sees no signs of this cycle topping out. He explains that the model, which links price to scarcity, indicates an average valuation of $500,000 for Bitcoin in the current four-year cycle. With Bitcoin now around $104,000, he believes it is still <em>\u201cvery undervalued.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He shared in a recent <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OJKz_I1xTK4\">video<\/a><\/strong>, <em>\u201cBitcoin price [is] at $104,000, which is still far away from the stock-to-flow value of $500,000 based on fundamentals, scarcity fundamentals. That\u2019s what I expect the average over this four-year cycle to be. So we\u2019re still far away from that. But we\u2019re also still only one year in the cycle, we have three years to go and so I think Bitcoin is very undervalued.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>ETF excitement gave false start to rally<\/h2>\n<p>Reflecting on this year\u2019s earlier price action, PlanB pointed out that Bitcoin made an early jump when spot <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/igaming.org\/crypto\/bitcoin-etfs-launch-15-years-after-hal-finneys-historic-tweet\/\">Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024<\/a><\/strong>.
