altcoins to gain massive attention after surging from below $2,500 to $3,800 and now targeting the $4k level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Amid price forecasts that see ETH bulls <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">target<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> further gains, Arthur Hayes, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">former BitMEX<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> CEO, has wondered whether buyers can push to $<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">5k<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> this week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Analysts at QCP are also bullish on Ethereum as the altcoin\u2019s dominance <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">jumps<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to above 11% <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">as<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Bitcoin\u2019s market share drops to 60%.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ethereum price rises as bulls target more gains<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As of writing, Ethereum price hovers around $3,773, slightly off intraday highs of $3,819 reached earlier in the day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The price level puts Ethereum on track to break above $4,000 amid its latest strong uptrend.\u00a0According to market data, ETH\u2019s current price is up just 2% in the last 24 hours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">However, the top altcoin\u2019s price is up 24% in the past week and more than 58% in the past month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Lookonchain has <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lookonchain\/status\/1947240571992744438\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">shared data<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> showing ETH whales have aggressively accumulated <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the past week, with <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">over<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> $2.7 billion in Ethereum scooped.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Arthur Hayes noted:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" price prediction<\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Ethereum price is in bullish momentum and has strengthened recovery for most coins, with the Ethereum price gaining amid a surge in its market dominance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">QCP analysts have identified this outlook for ETH and shared their optimistic predictions for the altcoin <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/QCPgroup\/status\/1947228360779706828\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">via X<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Notably, Ethereum is recording a surge in market share dominance as <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Bitcoin\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> dominance slips from highs of 64% to 60%. Ethereum has climbed from 9.7% to 11.6%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cI<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">s altcoin season finally here? Altcoin season indexes have surged past 50 across major sources, the highest since December. $ETH perpetual open interest has spiked from under $18B to over $28B in a week, and this time it looks like institutions are leading the charge, not retail,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201d <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">QCP posted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Per<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> their insights, the GENIUS Act <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and its signing<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> into law on July 18, 2025, could be a<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u201c<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">major catalyst<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On the bill, the analysts noted:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cI<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">t introduces a clear regulatory framework for stablecoin issuance, spurring renewed interest in $ETH and other L1s that host stablecoins<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In this case, many corporate treasuries are looking to tap into the opportunity with purchases of Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Cardano.
