It was a domain of money launderers and thieves,\u201d<\/em> Fink said.<em> \u201cBut you know, the markets teach you: you have to always relook at your assumptions.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>From Skeptic to Supporter<\/h2>\n<p>Fink\u2019s comments mark a clear evolution from his earlier stance, when he dismissed Bitcoin as speculative and dangerous. Now, after years of institutional adoption and regulatory progress, he acknowledges crypto\u2019s emerging role as a legitimate asset class.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThere is a role for crypto in the same way there\u2019s a role for gold,\u201d<\/em> he explained.<em> \u201cIt\u2019s an alternative for those looking to diversify. Its spot Bitcoin ETF approval earlier this year reinforced mainstream credibility for crypto investments, signaling a broader shift in Wall Street\u2019s approach.<\/p>\n<p>Fink also touched on broader investment strategy, urging Americans to diversify through private markets and long-term opportunities.
