Chainlink plans to implement this integration progressively across Lido\u2019s 16 supported chains, which include Arbitrum, Base and <a href=\"https:\/\/coinjournal.net\/news\/consensys-linea-integrates-lido-v3-to-automate-staking-bridged-eth\/\">Linea<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As well as that, there are early deployments on emerging networks, including Plasma, Monad, Ink, and 0G.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Key benefits and strategic impact<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adopting CCIP unlocks multiple advantages for wstETH holders and DeFi builders.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CCIP builds on Chainlink\u2019s proven decentralized oracle network that secures over $100 billion in DeFi total value locked. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For wstETH, CCT enables self-serve token deployments, complete DAO ownership of contracts, and programmable features.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For instance, future-proof expansion supports permissionless onboarding to most top blockchains, while\u00a0 layered defenses add to security. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Already, Lido\u2019s previous Chainlink integrations, including Data Feeds, power stETH\/wstETH adoption across protocols like Aave.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lido\u2019s move expands on these features.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jakov Buratovic, Master of DeFi at Lido, commented on the integration.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor stakers, the ability to move assets quickly across the ecosystem is essential for seizing opportunities, rebalancing liquidity, and managing their staked ETH efficiently. By adopting Chainlink CCIP as the official cross-chain standard for wstETH, we\u2019re giving users and builders a standardized, secure way to move wstETH across chains,\u201d Buratovic said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This partnership positions Lido for greater competitiveness in evolving markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Johann Eid, chief business officer at Chainlink Labs, also holds a similar view.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis integration is set to significantly expand access to wstETH across DeFi, with cross-chain flows secured by Chainlink\u2019s defense-in-depth architecture.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Lido DAO price outlook<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lido DAO (LDO), the governance token of the Lido liquid-staking protocol, has gained about 5% in the past 24 hours.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The LDO token gives holders the chance to vote on key protocol decisions such as validator onboarding and protocol upgrades.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The token traded around $0.76, up on the day but still well in the red over the past week and month.
