It dragged altcoins like Solana into the bloodbath.<\/p>\n<p>According to market data, SOL\u2019s 24-hour trading volume surged by 42% to over $9.63 billion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"157\">Alongside the price slide, the jump in trading volume pointed to panic selling as markets reacted to developments ahead of the upcoming FOMC meeting.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"159\" data-end=\"231\">Expectations for a December rate cut have fallen sharply to 31%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"233\" data-end=\"518\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The shift follows an announcement from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics that no October jobs report will be released, while the November report will arrive only after the FOMC decision, leaving policymakers and investors without two key labor readings at a critical moment.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TheCryptoLark\/status\/1991574817338806299\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lark Davis<\/a>, the move means Fed chair Jerome Powell \u201cwill be flying blind into the FOMC meeting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This has the market jittery as investors bet the Fed will look to play it safe by leaving rates unchanged.<\/p>\n<h2>SOL ETFs see inflows despite price dip<\/h2>\n<p>Despite price declines, Solana spot ETFs continue to see inflows.
