In an interview with CNBC, Anthony Pompliano described a push by major platforms to build what he calls the everything exchange.<\/p>\n<p>Pompliano said Coinbase plans to stretch beyond digital assets and offer access to multiple markets from one account. He said:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOne of the things that\u2019s really interesting is they\u2019re going after this \u2018everything exchange\u2019. The platform now serves more than 100 million users and relies on crypto infrastructure that already supports round-the-clock trading.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMany of these technologies are using crypto plumbing so having kind of a headstart in the crypto side is going to be a big advantage. But I would not discount the traditional players. These people have a lot of money.
