He described the action as <em>\u201csmart, gutsy, and pro-democracy.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Bankman-Fried criticized the Biden administration.<em> \u201cAll the world leaders I met were fed up with Biden,\u201d<\/em> he said, adding that Biden <em>\u201cbungled crypto.\u201d<\/em> The comments contrast with Bankman-Fried earlier political activity, which included donating millions of dollars to Democratic campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>Regulatory leadership formed a central part of the criticism.
