Stocks also spiked as Trump said he ordered a halt to strikes on Iran with a five-day pause.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI am pleased to report that the United States of America, and the country of Iran, have had, over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East,\u201d wrote Trump in a <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/116278159912794855\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Truth Social post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On the talks and what they mean, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FoxNews\/status\/2036079449242775664?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> Fox News:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThey want, very much, to make a deal. We\u2019d like to make a deal, too. We\u2019re going to get together today.
