As of the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/bitmine-immersion-technologies-bmnr-announces-eth-holdings-reach-4-875-million-tokens-and-total-crypto-and-total-cash-holdings-of-11-8-billion-302740122.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announcement<\/a>, Bitmine is 81% of the way there.<\/p>\n<p>Lee said the company bought 71,524 <span>ETH<\/span> in the past week, the highest single-week acquisition pace since December 22, 2025, and said the team views <span>ETH<\/span> as nearing the end of what he called a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/tom-lee-labels-crypto-dip-a-mini-winter-as-bitmine-adds-45759-eth\/\">mini-crypto winter<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c <span>ETH<\/span> is now the best performing asset since the start of the war, with a 17.4% gain and outperforming the S&amp;P 500 by 1,830 basis points,\u201d Lee said, citing the <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/china-faces-immediate-50-tariffs-if-caught-arming-iran-trump-says\/\">Iran<\/a> conflict now in its seventh week. He added that <span>ETH<\/span> outperforming <span>gold<\/span> by 2,743 basis points positions it, in his view, as a wartime store of value.<\/p>\n<p>Lee pointed to two structural drivers supporting continued <span>ETH<\/span> accumulation: Wall Street firms tokenizing assets on the Ethereum <span>blockchain<\/span>, and agentic <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/study-generative-ai-could-add-trillions-to-global-economy\/\">artificial intelligence (AI)<\/a> systems increasingly operating on public, neutral infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 4.875 million <span>ETH<\/span> held, Bitmine has staked 3,334,637 tokens, valued at approximately $7.4 billion at $2,206 per <span>ETH<\/span>.
