Talking to <a href=\"https:\/\/valor.globo.com\/financas\/criptomoedas\/noticia\/2026\/04\/20\/stablecoins-avancam-fora-do-nicho-cripto.ghtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Valor Economico<\/a>, he stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe market today is super healthy. Companies like ours operate mainly in B2B. We serve banks, brokerages, and other companies that want to exchange currency for <span>stablecoins<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Russo highlighted that most international travel agencies in Brazil now <span>leverage<\/span> <span>stablecoins<\/span>. Also, the executive mentioned foreign settlements with Bolivia as another use case for <span>stablecoins<\/span>. <strong>\u201cThere are no dollars in Bolivia. <span>Stablecoins<\/span> have become the solution,\u201d<\/strong> he stressed.<\/p>\n<p> <span>Stablecoins<\/span>, which have reached trading volumes of over 29.4 billion reais (nearly $6 billion) during December, have an advantage over standard fiat transactions. While the latter have to pay a financial transaction tax, <span>stablecoins<\/span> can be transacted freely.<\/p>\n<p>While the Brazilian government was prepared to tax <span>stablecoin<\/span> transactions, the move faced strong backlash from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitcoin.com\/get-started\/a-quick-introduction-to-crypto\/\" class=\"lar_link lar_link_outgoing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cryptocurrency<\/a> industry groups, who even vowed to sue the government.
