Coinpro, a <span>cryptocurrency<\/span> platform owned by the group, will integrate Anchorage\u2019s <span>Stablecoin<\/span> Solutions for Banks to \u201ccompress settlement cycles\u201d in its cross-border operations.<\/p>\n<p>Anchorage claims that its <span>stablecoin<\/span> solution offers international institutions the ability to include stablecoin-based operations with embedded compliance for cross-border payments and treasury operations.<\/p>\n<p>Nathan McCauley, co-founder and CEO of Anchorage Digital, stressed that <span>stablecoins<\/span> were moving to become core bank infrastructure. \u201cGrupo Salinas shares our conviction that digital dollars will power the next generation of cross-border finance, and we\u2019re proud to partner in bringing that vision to life,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n<h2>Brazil Slaps Banco Topazio With $3.2M Fine and 2-Year <span>Crypto<\/span> Trading Ban<\/h2>\n<p>The Administrative Sanctioning Process Decision Committee (Copas) of the Central Bank of Brazil <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/brazil-slaps-banco-topazio-with-3-2m-fine-and-2-year-crypto-trading-ban\/\">imposed<\/a> a two-year ban on Banco Topazios\u2019 foreign <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitcoin.com\/get-started\/a-quick-introduction-to-crypto\/\" class=\"lar_link lar_link_outgoing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cryptocurrency<\/a> trading operations due to irregularities in transactions accounting for billions of dollars.<\/p>\n<p>The committee determined that Banco Topazio disregarded compliance measures between October 2020 and September 2021, when it executed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitcoin.com\/get-started\/a-quick-introduction-to-crypto\/\" class=\"lar_link lar_link_outgoing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cryptocurrency<\/a> purchases without executing procedures to determine the qualification of the third parties benefiting from these operations.<\/p>\n<p>Banco Topazio\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitcoin.com\/get-started\/what-is-trading-volume\/\" class=\"lar_link lar_link_outgoing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">trading volume<\/a> during that period reached $1.7 billion involving 15 legal entities without notifying of atypical operations.
