Research body GAMRS said the blackout followed several B2B slot suppliers pulling their products after sustained pressure to stop serving unlicensed operators.<\/p>\n<p>On X, Mystake called the disruption \u201cscheduled maintenance.\u201d GAMRS chief executive Jordan Lea framed it differently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamblingnews.com\/news\/offshore-gambling-network-faces-sudden-outage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">telling<\/a> reporters that for \u201c20 or so hours, users were left not knowing if their funds were gone or not,\u201d and claiming the sites were down on mobile across the UK and most of Europe. Most brands were back the next day, though \u2013 by his account and others \u2013 not all of their previous games returned.<\/p>\n<p>The episode showed how dependent these operators are on third-party slot content \u2013 and how little else the takedown touched. Its research <a href=\"https:\/\/next.io\/news\/regulation\/punters-bet-black-market-site-mystake-last-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">estimates<\/a> the Santeda group turned over roughly $4.7 billion (\u00a33.51bn) in 2025 \u2013 about $1.6 billion (\u00a31.2bn) on Mystake alone \u2013 with some 64% of revenue from UK consumers and around $2.7 billion (\u00a32.02bn) deposited by British players a year. The brands lean on \u201cnot on Gamstop\u201d affiliate marketing aimed at self-excluded gamblers; 96 UK respondents reported losing about $322,500 (\u00a3241,152) on Mystake.
