Flare\u2019s verification <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/flare-adds-mxrpy-vault-targeting-3-to-4-as-xrpfi-yield-options-expand\/\">infrastructure<\/a> will ensure the information is independently auditable from the moment it is recorded, allowing financial institutions and climate\u2011sensitive industries to treat the data as a trusted input for on\u2011chain applications.<\/p>\n<p>Kweather and Flare said the initiative will serve as the foundation for emerging \u201cweather finance\u201d instruments. The companies intend to explore parametric climate insurance products that automatically pay out when pre\u2011defined environmental thresholds \u2014 such as drought, heatwaves or heavy rainfall \u2014 are met, eliminating traditional claims assessments. They also plan to evaluate weather derivatives for agriculture, energy, logistics and other sectors exposed to climate <span>volatility<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership will further examine ways to combine Kweather\u2019s physical meteorological infrastructure with <span>blockchain<\/span> networks to create a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN).
