The digital asset\u2019s daily chart shows ONDO jumped 15% from $0.32 to $0.393, its highest level since June 15.<\/p>\n<p>The rally was also fueled by an earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OndoFinance\/status\/2077411189269692763\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announcement<\/a> that Ondo had launched the first tokenized stock representations based on DTC digital entitlements. Generated through the DTCC Tokenization Service, these digital representations of securities held by the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation gave the token an additional boost.<\/p>\n<p>Ondo joins the DTCC\u2019s largest tokenization initiative to date, alongside major financial institutions including <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/ondo-brings-blackrock-ivv-etf-and-micron-shares-onchain-in-us-regulatory-first\/\">Blackrock<\/a>, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange. The DTCC is the premier post-trade market infrastructure for U.S. securities, having processed approximately $4.7 quadrillion in transactions in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Together, the positive developments pushed ONDO\u2019s weekly gains past 20% and lifted its market capitalization from $1.55 billion to nearly $1.87 billion. Furthermore, the token\u2019s surge left it slightly higher than its Jan. 1 value, making it one of the few digital assets with positive year-to-date gains.<\/p>\n<p>The landmark DTCC issuance allows the recording of <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/securitize-becomes-largest-tokenized-stock-as-sector-transfer-volume-hits-8-47-billion\/\">tokenized entitlements<\/a> to DTC-held securities, such as CRCL and SPY. These entitlements serve as digital twins for Ondo\u2019s existing CRCLon and SPYon tokenised stocks. Because these securities can be converted between traditional and tokenized forms, they offer greater <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitcoin.com\/get-started\/what-is-liquidity\/\" class=\"lar_link lar_link_outgoing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">liquidity<\/a> and flexibility across Ondo\u2019s global partner network of exchanges, wallets and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitcoin.com\/get-started\/what-is-defi-decentralized-finance\/\" class=\"lar_link lar_link_outgoing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeFi<\/a> platforms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs tokenized securities markets continue to evolve, Ondo expects to play a leading role in bringing these assets on-chain for investors,\u201d Ondo CEO Ian De Bode said of the DTCC integration.<\/p>\n<h2>Expanding into Japan via SBI Group<\/h2>\n<p>In a statement regarding the SBI Group alliance, Ondo Finance said the collaboration covers tokenizing Japanese assets with distribution across the SBI ecosystem and settlement using the JPYSC <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitcoin.com\/get-started\/what-are-stablecoins\/\" class=\"lar_link lar_link_outgoing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">stablecoin<\/a>. Commenting on the partnership, De Bode said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJapan is one of the most sophisticated capital markets in the world, and SBI sits at the center of it. This collaboration creates a path to bring Japanese assets on-chain and to connect Japan with the global tokenized economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yoshitaka Kitao, representative director, chairman, president and CEO of SBI Holdings, characterized Ondo as an ally that will help his firm achieve its goal of creating a digital assets corridor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOndo Finance has established itself as a global leader in the tokenization of real-world assets and is at the forefront of the tokenized equities market.
