This is an impossible requirement from the Aus gov, looks like back to PayPal only.\u201d<\/strong> Hunt <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/troyhunt\/status\/2078601159456219594?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">declared<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase stated that <strong>\u201cnew Australian regulations require information about the sender when you receive crypto outside Coinbase.\u201d<\/strong> To redeem these funds, Hunt must provide the full name, country of residence, ID number, home address, and date of birth of the sender to redeem these funds.<\/p>\n<p>Hunt was recommended to use self-hosted wallets to continue to receive these donations or to move the company to a more crypto-friendly jurisdiction. <strong>\u201cThat\u2019s the second crypto donation I\u2019ve had this year and it\u2019s about 6 bucks so no, trying to move the whole circus someone else doesn\u2019t make sense.
