Washoe County, which includes Reno and Sparks, rose 17.6% to $107.6 million, while statewide gaming win increased 0.8% to $1.34 billion, according to figures <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gaming.nv.gov\/siteassets\/content\/about\/abb-revenue\/mrrjun2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">released<\/a> Tuesday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.<\/p>\n<p>The Las Vegas Strip moved in the opposite direction, with gaming win falling 1.4% to $754.7 million. Clark County\u2019s overall total slipped 0.7% to $1.15 billion, although downtown Las Vegas rose 2.6% to $75.5 million and the Boulder Strip increased 1.9% to $89 million.<\/p>\n<p>The Strip decline traced to a retreat in premium play rather than an unlucky month for the house. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gaming.nv.gov\/siteassets\/content\/about\/gaming-revenue\/monthly-revenue-report----june-2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Baccarat win<\/a> dropped 19.7% to $102.7 million, but the amount wagered fell further, down 22.2% or $174.7 million to $610.7 million. Strip occupancy edged up 0.3 percentage points to 82.2%, but the average daily room rate fell 5.1% to $165.45, and Strip revenue per available room declined 4.7% to $136. Destination-wide occupancy slipped to 78.3% on an average rate of $156.32, while downtown hotels fared worst of all, with revenue per available room down 13.4% to $47.39.<\/p>\n<p>At $81.6 million, July was Reno\u2019s second-best result on record, behind only the $83 million posted in July 2000, and it included an all-time-high slot win of $90 million on coin-in of $1.5 billion. Two large capital projects are reshaping the market: Grand Sierra Resort has begun a <a href=\"https:\/\/igamingbusiness.com\/finance\/monthly-results\/las-vegas-data-june\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">multi-phase $1 billion expansion<\/a>, and J Resort completed the $400 million first phase of its renovation in May.<\/p>\n<p>Over the fiscal year ending June 30, statewide wins rose 2.59% to $16.05 billion. Reno gained 7.3% to $825.3 million and Sparks 7.2% to $190.9 million, while the Las Vegas Strip grew more slowly at 2% to $8.95 billion from a base more than ten times Reno\u2019s size. North Lake Tahoe, down 5.94% to $2.08 million in June, was the only market in the state to finish the fiscal year lower. Tax receipts told a softer story: the state collected $81.6 million in percentage fees in July on June\u2019s taxable revenue, a 6.99% decline of $6.1 million against a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>The same regulator is separately working to keep event-contract platforms out of the market its figures measure. Kalshi <a href=\"https:\/\/cdcgaming.com\/kalshi-to-stop-accepting-nevada-wagers-by-aug-12-or-risk-120000-a-day-penalty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">agreed in a July 23 court filing<\/a> to deploy third-party geofencing across Nevada by Aug. 12 or face penalties of $120,000 a day, after board investigators <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ingame.com\/nevada-shut-down-kalshi-geofence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">repeatedly bought prohibited<\/a> sports, election and entertainment contracts from inside the state despite a May injunction. The board argued Kalshi was taking hundreds of millions in wagers on the World Cup and the NBA, and Stanley Cup finals while declining to geofence as licensed sportsbooks do. Kalshi now faces geolocation restrictions in Nevada, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/cftc-blocks-kalshi-from-cancelling-michigan-sports-trades-ordered-voided\/\">Michigan<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/washington-judge-rejects-kalshis-federal-defense-grants-state-injunction\/\">Washington<\/a>, while more than <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/prediction-market-fight-deepens-as-40-states-push-back-on-cftc\/\">40 states<\/a> contest the CFTC\u2019s claim to exclusive jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p>The June figures do not yet establish a sustained Las Vegas slowdown.
