Using a dollar-linked asset provides a consistent settlement denomination after customers enter local-currency prices, although the announcement does not identify the conversion rate provider or specify how exchange-rate spreads are calculated.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bitcoin.com\/get-started\/altcoins-and-tokens\/stablecoins\/what-are-stablecoins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stablecoins generally combine blockchain-based transfers with a target value tied to an external asset<\/a>, most commonly the U.S. dollar.
