With bitcoin\u2019s price recently trading above $75,000, traders give $85,000 a 69% probability, while the odds of touching $90,000 drop to 49%.<\/p>\n<p>The betting gets colder fast as the targets move higher. Polymarket puts $100,000 at 29%, $110,000 at 20%, and $120,000 at 13%. Money moving in either direction constantly reprices the implied odds.<\/p>\n<h2>Traders Put Real Money Behind Bitcoin\u2019s Downside<\/h2>\n<p>The action is hardly a one-way bullish bet. Polymarket traders put the probability of bitcoin touching $70,000 before year-end at 67%, with $65,000 sitting at 44%. The odds slide to 29% at $60,000, 17% at $50,000, and 8% at $40,000.<\/p>\n<p>That leaves an unusually wide battlefield instead of an easy bullish consensus. Prediction marketplace bettors are paying for serious downside while keeping another six-figure run alive. More importantly, these contracts settle when a threshold gets touched, not wherever bitcoin happens to finish the year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/polymarket.com\/event\/when-will-bitcoin-hit-100k\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Polymarket\u2019s separate market<\/a> on when bitcoin reaches $100,000 shows similar caution. Traders price the odds at 34% by Dec. 31, 2026, climbing to 48% by March 31, 2027, 60% by June 30, and 81% by the end of 2027. But with just $11,874 traded, that market is dramatically thinner than the larger price-target pool.<\/p>\n<h2>Kalshi\u2019s Millions Build Another Wall at $100,000<\/h2>\n<p>Those wagering on Kalshi are flashing <a href=\"https:\/\/kalshi.com\/markets\/kxbtcmax100\/when-will-bitcoin-hit-100k\/kxbtcmax100-26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">roughly the same warning<\/a>. Kalshi\u2019s market on that level has attracted more than $36 million in volume, yet traders give bitcoin only a 6% probability of reaching $150,000 before January 2027.<\/p>\n<h2>Bernstein Breaks From the Prediction Market Crowd<\/h2>\n<p>Wall Street research firm <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/StockSavvyShay\/status\/2092572819704221804?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bernstein is far more bullish<\/a> once the clock stretches beyond 2026.
