The release disclosed that these three crypto assets \u201cwill be available in the coming months,\u201d and other digital assets may be announced going forward. Schwab further noted on Thursday that the firm has the right to delay, modify, or even withdraw support entirely for the specific crypto assets.<\/p>\n<p>The Schwab Crypto news comes as <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/market-updates\/bitcoin-price-rockets-past-80k-as-shorts-get-crushed\/\">bitcoin\u2019s price and crypto asset valuations have been rallying hard<\/a> and at the time of writing, the crypto economy as a whole stands at $2.7 trillion. SOL, AVAX, and LINK have prospered in terms of percentage gains since the news.<\/p>\n<p> <iframe src=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/solana\/embed\" width=\"100%\" style=\"max-height:500px;height:500px;border:none;overflow:hidden;border-radius:4px\" scrolling=\"no\" title=\"solana market data\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p>SOL leads the pack on Thursday with a 12.4% gain, LINK rose 6.8%, and AVAX has jumped 4.6% against the U.S. dollar, performing better than bitcoin\u2019s price gains. While BTC is up 7% over the last seven days, SOL, for instance, has climbed 24.1%.<\/p>\n<h2>Traditional Finance Pushes Deeper Into Digital Assets<\/h2>\n<p>Similar to the Schwab Crypto rollout of BTC, ETH, and then new coins, institutional crypto participation initially started with <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/bitcoin-etf\/blackrock-captures-322-79m-as-bitcoin-ether-etfs-add-424m\/\">spot bitcoin and ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs)<\/a> and then, after the 2025 generic listing standards, spot funds for SOL, XRP, LTC, and DOGE went live.
