Across the wider category, U.S. solana ETFs now hold about <a href=\"https:\/\/sosovalue.com\/assets\/etf\/us-sol-spot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">$1.43 billion in assets<\/a>, representing about 2.35% of SOL\u2019s marketcap.<\/p>\n<h2>Solana ETF Flows Hold Up Through Market Weakness<\/h2>\n<p>The market\u2019s reaction to BSOL crossing $1 billion in assets under management was telling, with Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas pointing to roughly $1.7 billion in cumulative flows across the entire category, with little evidence of sustained withdrawals despite the earlier downturn.<\/p>\n<p>Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley noted that bitcoin, ether and solana are currently the only three crypto assets with ETFs that have grown beyond $1 billion. The token has moved back above $100, pushing its market capitalization above $60 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Institutional access is also broadening outside ETFs. Charles Schwab said on Aug. 27 that it plans to add <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/crypto-news\/13t-asset-manager-charles-schwab-adds-3-altcoins-to-its-crypto-push\/\">spot trading for Solana<\/a>, Avalanche and Chainlink to Schwab Crypto in the coming months. The brokerage oversees more than $12 trillion in client assets across roughly 39 million accounts.<\/p>\n<p>The combination of direct brokerage access and growing ETF assets could give solana a larger foothold among traditional investors who do not want to manage tokens or wallets themselves.<\/p>\n<p>For Bitwise, the $1 billion mark is notable not simply because of its size, but because of when it arrived. Much of the capital entered while crypto markets were under pressure.
