That\u2019s how we identify crypto holders and the platforms they use,\u201d<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PowerHasheur\/status\/2101646272671162617?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">he declared<\/a>, linking the surge of these scams with the recent data leaks that have affected millions of French citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The threat actors executing these scam calls use the same playbook: they alert users that their funds are in danger and prompt them to make a quick transfer to secure them, using this sense of urgency to their advantage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIf you panic and follow through, that\u2019s where your money will go\u2014to their address,\u201d<\/strong> Simonin pointed out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cA service won\u2019t contact you out of the blue, unless you\u2019ve reached out to them on a very specific issue.
