The holder moved 4,499 BTC worth $381 million from an unknown wallet to an unknown new wallet.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Blockchain sleuth <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OnchainLens\/status\/2103335848913801361\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Onchain Lens pointed out <\/a>that the coins were worth about $187.38 million when the wallet received them. To elaborate, the wallet labelled \u2018bc1qln\u2019 got its 4,500 BTC on April 21, 2022, in <a href=\"https:\/\/mempool.space\/tx\/446118221c3402c64e0eb59dd83a22202ac0af6195057878d3f945060b7e8c26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a single transfer<\/a> from an older address. That older wallet had received the same stash on Aug. 5, 2019, and had not moved it in between.<\/p>\n<p>So the same 4,500 BTC has sat with what looks like one owner for more than seven years.<\/p>\n<h2>What Seven Years of Sitting Still Looks Like<\/h2>\n<p>Using daily closing prices from historical market data, the stash\u2019s value tells the story of a full cycle:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight:400\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Aug. 5, 2019:<\/b> BTC closed near $11,829, putting 4,500 BTC at about $53.2 million.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight:400\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>April 21, 2022:<\/b> The first move happened with bitcoin near $40,480, or about $182 million.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight:400\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Oct. 6, 2025:<\/b> Bitcoin\u2019s price closed near $124,658 during its record run, valuing the stash at roughly $561 million.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight:400\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Sept. 25, 2026:<\/b> With bitcoin\u2019s price at about $84,400 today, the coins are worth around $378 million.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That is a roughly sevenfold gain on paper, and the holder never touched the coins at the $561 million peak. It also caps an active week for vintage coins with Bitcoin.com News <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/featured\/bitcoin-holders-4500-stash-turns-into-a-51-6m-fortune-37856\/\">recently covering a 2012 wallet<\/a> whose $4,512 stash had grown to $51.6 million.<\/p>\n<h2>The $1.10 Detail<\/h2>\n<p>The transaction paid 1,303 satoshis in fees, which comes to about $1.10 at today\u2019s bitcoin price. That is the entire toll for settling $378 million without a bank, a wire desk or a business day.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction also carried some clutter as alongside the 4,500 BTC, the sender spent seven tiny outputs of 294 to 547 satoshis that had trickled into the address between December 2024 and Sept. 11, 2026.<\/p>\n<h2>Could This Be a Sell Signal?<\/h2>\n<p>Not really, given that the <a href=\"https:\/\/mempool.space\/address\/bc1qpls5rs7z53avm0k60hh40y30lkmekl0hnaevuw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">receiving wallet shows one incoming transaction<\/a> and no outgoing ones, so the coins have not reached any labeled exchange at press time.
