Subsequent changes would put advanced proofs, formal verification, and highly optimized consensus at the center of development.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s still trouble brewing in the engineering. Proofs must become sufficiently efficient and safe, while coordinating access to enormous amounts of stored application information presents what Buterin considers the more complicated systemic challenge.<\/p>\n<p>His longer-range <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/ethereum-co-founder-vitalik-buterin-proposes-a-maximally-simple-l1-privacy-roadmap\/\">discussion includes obfuscation<\/a>, a cryptographic approach that could eventually support broadly programmable encrypted computation.
