The waterway is a major route for oil shipments. A <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/finance\/irans-7-day-hormuz-proposal-hits-already-nervous-market\/\">Sept. 24 account of Iran\u2019s proposal<\/a> described the proposed easing of U.S. pressure and its blockade.
