U.S. Chief Design Officer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/09\/29\/trump-ai-gemini-grok.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joe Gebbia added<\/a> that Grok from Elon Musk\u2019s SpaceXAI was also used in developing the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin.com News tested the platform, which, according to the government, pulls information and updates from around 29,000 government websites.<\/p>\n<p>We asked 12 questions related to the federal government\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/regulation-and-legal\/waters-and-emmer-clash-over-clarity-act-failure-and-trump-deals\/\">bitcoin and crypto policies<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/us-crypto-taxes-will-be-harder-to-file-correctly-heres-why\/\">tax reporting<\/a>, crypto asset usage, investor protection, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/regulation-and-legal\/senator-seeks-trump-crypto-ban-as-63-call-his-profits-inappropriate\/\">Trump family\u2019s crypto businesses<\/a>. With Claude, Bitcoin.com News used the Sonnet 5.5 model at high effort, while ChatGPT was tested using the standard free version.<\/p>\n<h2>America.gov Misses What Is Happening in America<\/h2>\n<p>In general, America.gov was strong on tax forms, scam reporting, and safety warnings. However, unlike Claude and ChatGPT, it missed recent legislative developments relevant to the questions. It also presented outdated information about the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\u2019s guidance on digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>In either case, the platform, similarly to Claude, constantly hedged, adding a \u201cnot advice\u201d line to its answers while also saying what it could not do in nine out of 12 questions. ChatGPT added none of these caveats.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s look at those differences in more detail. For space and simplicity, Bitcoin.com News will provide America.gov\u2019s answers while adding a comment on how Claude and ChatGPT performed in each case.<\/p>\n<h2>1. What is the status of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve bill?<\/h2>\n<p>ChatGPT was the clearest here, while Claude was the most detailed. America.gov was out of date because it missed the fact that, on Sept. 16, a <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/regulation-and-legal\/house-panel-advances-us-bitcoin-reserve-bill-with-20-year-hold\/\">House committee advanced<\/a> legislation that would codify the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. Both other chatbots mentioned this vote. Meanwhile, the structure-loving ChatGPT summed it up most succinctly: \u201cStrategic Bitcoin Reserve = already established policy. Claude provided the most current information, mentioning the GENIUS and CLARITY acts.
