Flyfi Turns Crypto Into Hotel Keys for Token2049, Devcon 8 and Conference Season
(Originally posted on : Bitcoin News )
The launch is led by packages for Token2049 Singapore and the After2049 side-event week surrounding it, alongside Devcon 8, the Ethereum developer conference. Further packages covering Consensus, ETHDenver, NFT.NYC and Paris Blockchain Week will follow through 2027. Each package curates premium and five-star hotels within easy reach of the conference venues and the evening side-event circuit, with pricing displayed upfront and payment accepted in more than 30 major cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, BCH and major stablecoins, as well as conventional card.
The service addresses a gap familiar to anyone on the conference circuit. Tens of thousands of founders, investors and developers travel to these events every year, hold their wealth on-chain and value discretion, yet are still routed through booking platforms that demand account registration, extensive personal data and fiat payment. Flyfi’s checkout requires neither an account nor unnecessary personal information: travelers connect a wallet, select a hotel and receive confirmation in minutes. The company collects only the information a hotel needs to honor the reservation, and does not sell, analyze or retarget customer data.
“The people flying to Token2049 or Devcon 8 already run their financial lives on-chain, and many of them are exactly the travelers who least want their movements logged, profiled and retargeted,” said Peter Georgiou, CEO of Flyfi. “We built this for them: premium hotels, tickets and other services, all paid in crypto, booked in minutes, or handed entirely to a dedicated agent who arranges everything quietly, using a ‘white glove’ service.”
For delegations and travelers with specific requirements, including group bookings, team accommodation near a venue, extended stays across the side-event week or heightened privacy needs, Flyfi offers this dedicated concierge service. A personal agent manages the entire arrangement from first brief to check-out, with discretion assured throughout. Through the same service, clients can request access to private jets, yacht charters and bespoke experiences ahead of their full integration into the platform. Concierge requests are handled directly through the Flyfi website.
The event packages sit on Flyfi’s existing platform of more than 300,000 premium hotels worldwide, matched to travelers by AI-powered search across major destinations in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. The platform launched publicly in July 2026 and supports payment from multiple connected wallets, letting travelers pay in the assets they already hold rather than converting to fiat.
Token2049 Singapore packages are available now, with additional crypto and blockchain events added on a rolling basis through 2026 and 2027. Flyfi plans to expand beyond hotels into flights, car rentals and curated experiences, all transacted in cryptocurrency.
